The Fathering Project - 'Decoding the Universe - Nature's Hidden Language'

On Thursday the 21st of August we launched into our termly Fathering Project evening. Inspired by Science Week and the theme of this year "Decoding the Universe", we created catapults with the assistance of science teacher Jim Norman. Families created, tested and modified incredible catapults which were launching objects well over 10 metres! Thankyou to all our families who come and participate in these evenings. We love the strong connection we can build with our MPS community through these nights and your willingness to continue bringing strong, positive partnerships between home and school for your children. 

Additionally, we have our annual "Dads Footy Game" coming up on Wednesday the 17th against Antonio Park PS. This is a great way to finish off the term, join in with some fun and continue to build strong connections in our school community. Calling all Dads! The Fathering Project - Footy Match

After a very fun game of footy against Antonio Park last year, we are looking for more people to join our Mitcham Dads Footy Team! Later this term we will be having another friendly match against the Antonio Park Dads team. 

The team is having a kick around on Sunday 1pm at Mullauna College, so please feel free to come down and join. It is a great opportunity to meet some other parents and enjoy a kick of the footy.
