Hank’s Weekly Dose of Pawsitivity

Hank has quickly become a much-loved member of our school community. He has already had many adventures and made so many new friends. Sometimes his job is to greet students who might be feeling nervous or worried about the day ahead. With a wag of his tail and a great big smile, Hank has a way of making even the toughest mornings feel a little brighter. On some days, his adventures take him into classrooms where he does a quick check of the floor to clean up any crumbs, then lays down for belly scratches. He loved visiting 5RC, PGY, 2KO and 6GL and even had a go at teaching Italian! He learnt that the masculine Italian word for 'dog' is Cane!
Hank’s adventures don’t stop there. He also spends time in the playground when he is on duty with Mrs Talbot. He sure can pull a crowd! He has a special knack for knowing when someone needs an extra cuddle or a quiet moment by his side. Students are doing a great job of approaching Hank calmly and using gentle hands to pat him. He also thanks everyone for keeping their dogs off school grounds so he can be fully present to do the important work he is doing.
Each day, Hank's adventures may look different, but his mission is always the same: to spread happiness, comfort, and a sense of belonging to everyone at school.
