Learning Conferences:

These are this Thursday from 8 am until around 7:15 pm for some. Our year one classes will hold an open day this Thursday, allowing parents to understand how we provide a structured approach to play-based learning and integrate literacy and numeracy into all we do.

Please Note:

If year one student parents wish to meet with your child's teacher on that day, just let them know when you are here, and that will be fine.

These conferences are an opportunity for you to get to know your child's teacher and for them to gain a better understanding of your family, the things that are important to your family and the goals and aspirations you have for your children.

It's an opportunity for you to share insights and tips on building the best relationships with your children and provide additional information that will help your child be happy and engaged in their learning.

These are powerful reasons why learning conferences are important. Professor John Hattie - famous worldwide for his metadata research on learning - states the number one factor influencing a child's learning is the relationship between the child and their teacher. You can considerably strengthen that relationship by attending your child's learning conference.

You still have time to book via our Learning App HERO. If you need help, call in or phone in and we will be glad to assist.
