MGC Humanities Team Introduces… THE HUMANITIES LEADERSHIP COUNCIL!

Introducing the Humanities Leadership Council (HLC)

The Humanities Leadership Council (HLC) is a new student-led initiative at Melbourne Girls' College, designed to empower students passionate about humanities and leadership. It aims to make humanities a vibrant part of MGC through school-wide events, discussions, and projects that promote global awareness and critical thinking.

What is the HLC?

The HLC organises humanities-focused events, campaigns, and initiatives, providing leadership opportunities for students interested in history, politics, economics, geography, and social issues. Members develop project management skills while contributing to the school's cultural life.

Why Join?

The HLC fosters leadership, collaboration, inclusivity, global awareness, and sustainability. Members gain experience in event planning, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, while building valuable connections within and beyond the school.
