Bird Count

We now have 27 out of 40 Birds filling up the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Celebration Tree in the office area! Students have been displaying our school values - Ambition, Compassion, Courage & Creativity - at every opportunity this term, earning Egg tokens as acknowledgements of positive behaviour. They are enjoying trading every ten eggs for a Chick of the corresponding colour, then become very excited when ten Chicks get traded for a Bird!

Unlocking Potential Program

Ainslie has been completing some intensive Professional Learning over the past year, with the Academy of Educational Leadership. The course is called Unlocking Potential - Principal Preparation. The last four weeks of Term 1 will see Ainslie completing an Internship as part of this Professional Learning, where she will work closely with another Principal at their school. 

We wish Ainslie the very best in this placement and look forward to seeing her back at Box Hill North for Term 2!

Cultural Diversity Week

Monday 24th - Friday 28th March

We very much look forward to celebrating Cultural Diversity week at Box Hill North Primary School and Kindergarten. As our Years 5 and 6 students will be away during the nationwide Cultural Diversity week, we will celebrate the following week. 

Stay tuned for more information, including a Special Lunch Order made by some of our wonderful Chinese community on Thursday 27th March!
