The sports department would like to thank the whole Northcote High School Community for making our Northcote High School Athletics Carnival such a huge success. We were so happy with the day. The student participation was at an all time high which was fantastic to see so many students competing in Track, Field and Novelty Events all while gaining valuable points for their Houses.  We loved seeing so many students come in the house colours and wearing some pretty amazing costumes.   

Congratulations to our students who took home place ribbons they will now progress through to the Divisional Athletics Carnival which is to be held on May 29 at Meadowglen Athletics Track. 

Year 12s at Athletics Day 2026

The Year 12s turned up all dressed in house colours and themes to participate in track and field events. This year’s cohort marks the largest Year 12 turnout at Athletics Day in recent years and everyone had so much fun! The participation across all events was strong and the students were actively cheering one another on the track and off! We are so proud of our Year 12s for epitomising the ability to balance work (studies) with play. The novelty Tug-of-War event was taken on seriously and the students combined forces regardless of class or friendship groups to represent their Houses!
