Beach Schools Cup

On Thursday 5th March we had 20 NHS students represent the school at the Volleyball Victoria Beach Schools Cup. Our Year 9 and 10 teams competed against schools from across the state in the Yr 10 Division. 

We had 4 teams of ‘Fours’ enter the competition, with one of our teams getting some great results during the day and advancing to the playoffs. After a long day in the sand, Emily V, Zia G, Maisie L and Edie D finished in third place – a huge achievement as they were competing in an age group older than them! Well done! 

A special mention to our very first ‘Pair’ to represent NHS at the Beach Schools Cup. Elida R and Astrid D competed in a very high level of competition and had some fantastic results.  

Overall, the teams played extremely well and should be very proud of the efforts.
