SYDSA Cross Country

The Junior girls had a great day out at the SYDSA cross country event at Fawkner Park. A total of 23 girls showed great determination to complete the courses on what was a glorious sunny day. Overall, the girls finished 5th out of 6 schools. A great effort in a very competitive and largely fielded teams. We wish Sarah W (Year 4) and Anna K (Year 6) all the best as they proceed to Divisions on Tuesday 28th May (week 7).

GSV Cross Country Training Meets

Over the past few weeks, our Senior girls have had the opportunity to engage in friendly competition against other schools in multiple cross-country training meets at The Tan, South Yarra. The girls have certainly improved with their pacing strategies and confidence as we lead into the GSV cross country preliminaries and championships in weeks 6 and 7. 

Whole School Athletics 

Our final whole school House Carnival is almost upon us (2023 pictured above). 

In week 6 on Friday 24th May, all students will head to Duncan McKinnon Athletics Track for a full day of athletic fun competition. With the program in the final stages of completion, we look forward to sharing this with you shortly. 

We welcome you to come and enjoy the day in either a spectator or even volunteer capacity. If you would like to be involved in the day/part of the day in an event marshalling capacity, we would love to hear from you if you hold a valid working with children’s check.
