Vaping

According to the Australian Drug Foundation in 2022 to 2023, one in five young people (19.8%) have used a vape or e-cigarette at least once. Anecdotally, that number is likely to be much higher. Once seen as a safer alternative to traditional cigarettes, these forms of smoking have very significant dangers associated with their use. As adults, our job is to talk with our teenagers about the risks in a way that isn't judgmental or punitive. This week’s article from school TV talks about vaping in greater depth.
