Lest We Forget

On Wed 24 April, students and staff, together with special guest Daryl Bristowe, commemorated ANZAC Day at a special assembly.

Daryl Bristowe is a local Veteran who served at Vietnam and who's family has served for Australia for generations. Proceedings commenced with a short speech about ANZAC Day from Mr Mason, followed by readings from each of the College Captains before we heard from Mr Bristowe about Gallipoli.  Following the Laying of the Wreath, the Last Post was played by Dimitre Gosios before we one minute's silence in remembrance.  Our assembly ended with the National Anthem led by the College Choirs.

In a poignant moment, noted by many, the rain stopped and the sun came out during the minute's silence.

Lest We Forget.
