Principal’s Report.

Welcome back to Term 4! 

I trust that each of you had a restful break and are ready for the exciting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt best wishes to our Year 12 students. The upcoming exams mark a significant milestone in your educational journey, and I have full confidence in your abilities, dedication, and hard work.

 

Year 12 is a time of challenges and growth, and I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you for the effort you have put into your studies. You have shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable.

 

To our Year 12 students, take a deep breath, stay calm, and approach each exam with confidence. Remember to manage your time effectively, read the questions carefully, and answer to the best of your abilities. Believe in the knowledge and skills you have acquired and let your hard work shine through.

 

No matter the outcome, please know that you are valued and respected members of our school community. Your efforts and achievements, both in and out of the classroom, have made a positive impact, and we are incredibly proud of you.

 

 

Spring Concert

 

I am delighted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our incredibly talented students and dedicated staff for their outstanding performances at the Spring Concert held on Tuesday, October 11th, at the Geelong West Town Hall. The evening was filled with exceptional musical talents, captivating performances, and a wonderful display of teamwork and creativity.

 

I also want to commend our staff members whose guidance, support, and encouragement have played a significant role in nurturing our students' talents. Your commitment to fostering a love for music and the arts has undoubtedly made a difference in our students' lives.

 

To the parents and families, thank you for your continuous support and encouragement. Your presence at the concert and your encouragement at home have a positive impact on our students' confidence and passion for the arts.

 

Arts & Tech Show

 

We are excited to invite you to the opening of our upcoming Arts & Technology Show, which will be held on Monday, October 16th, 4.30-7.30pm, at Belmont High School. This event promises to be an inspiring showcase of the incredible talent and creativity of our students.

 

Highlights of the Event:

  • Student Exhibits: Explore a wide range of artworks, technological innovations, and creative projects crafted by our talented students.
  • Live Demonstrations: Witness live demonstrations of technology projects, art techniques, and innovative designs.
  • Performances: Enjoy captivating performances by our music, dance, and drama groups, highlighting the diverse talents of our students.
  • Food and Refreshments: Delight in delicious food and drinks provided for all attendees, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

 

This event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, who have poured their creativity into various artistic and technological endeavours. It is also an excellent opportunity for our school community to come together, celebrate the achievements of our students, and be inspired by their innovative projects.

 

We encourage all parents, students, and community members to join us for this special event. Your presence and support mean a lot to our students, and your enthusiasm adds to the energy of the occasion.
