Perburuan di Melbourne (Scavenger Hunt in Melbourne)

Pada hari Senin, tanggal ke-4 September kelas Indonesia (10 & 11) naik kereta api ke pusat kota Melbourne.

Di Melbourne semua siswa berpartisipasi dalam Perburuan (Scavenger Hunt). Mereka membaca informasi dari Bu Maddy & Bu Lea dan mereka harus mengunjungi delapan tempat.

Tempat ini termasuk Museum Imigrasi, Jembatan Princes, Fed Square, Gedung Pemerintah, Pasar Swalayan, Agen Travel, Restoran Indonesia, dan lain-lain.

Di setiap tempat, kelompok itu harus mendapat bukti dari kunjungannya – mungkin brosur atau foto.

Untuk makan siang setiap kelompok bertemu di restoran Indonesia YOI dan semuanya makan siang bersama-sama – hidangan termasuk Nasi Goreng, Sate Padang, Rendang Padang, Nasi daun ayam sambal korek (pedas sekali), dan Bakso. Siswa-siswi juga minum Teh Lychee, Tek Es, Es Cendol, Es Telur dan tentu saja, Coke.

On Monday the 4th September Indonesian classes (yrs 10 & 11) caught the train to Melbourne CBD.

In Melbourne, all of the students participated in a Scavenger Hunt. They deciphered the instrcutions from Bu Maddy & Bu Lea and visited eight places.

These places included the Immigration Museum, Princes Bridge, Fed Square, Government House, Supermarkets, Travel Agencies, Indonesian Restaurants, and others.

At each site, the group needed evidence of their visit – perhaps a brochure or photographs.

For lunch each group met at the YOI Indonesian restaurant and everyone had lunch together – dishes included Fried Rice, Sate Padang, Rendang Padang, Sambal Match Chicken Leaf Rice (very spicy), and Bakso. The students also drank Lychee Tea, Iced Tea, Iced Cendol, Iced Egg, and of course Coke.
