ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Read a text with your child, get them to make connections and inferences between the satire (humour) and the social issues in the text. Get them to justify with evidence from the book. Also, ask your child to identify the elements of the satire and social issues in the text.
