The St Aidan's Swimming Carnival will be held on Thursday 28th March at Des Renford Leisure Centre Maroubra (Jersey Rd & Robey Street, Maroubra NSW 2035)
Students will travel via bus from St Aidan's to Des Renford Leisure Centre Maroubra. All students need to arrive at SCHOOL by 8.30am. Buses will depart school at 9 am sharp. As this is a school day all children are required to attend.
Students are able to be picked up from the venue at the conclusion of the carnival at approximately 1:30pm. A Compass alert will be sent out on the day when the finish time is known. All students are to stay until the end of the carnival when we present the winning team with the trophy.
Students who do not get picked up from the venue will travel back to school via bus. Please ensure you select either attending or decline on the event in Compass that has been sent. This will ensure we book return buses accordingly.
What to wear: Students are to come to school dressed in their swimming costume and sports uniform. If they wish to wear a coloured t-shirt in their house colour they may. Students are able to wear slide on shoes. A reminder that no coloured hair spray, coloured zinc or crepe paper is allowed at the venue.
What to bring: A small bag with the following items in it.
- Towel
- Swimming Cap
- Goggles
- Recess and Lunch
