This term, Year 5 and Year 6 have been learning about public speaking in preparation for the Public Speaking Competition that will be taking place next term. Public speaking is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn how to communicate their ideas through informing, entertaining or persuading the audience about a particular topic.
Students have been learning about what public speaking is and the importance of the 3M’s:
Students in Kinder to Year 4 have thoroughly enjoyed their swimming lessons at Des Renford last week. Instructors guided students with improving their water safety knowledge as well as their swimming skills and strokes. Students are excited and looking forward to the Swimming Carnival this Thursday 28 March.
