Deutsch für die Zukunft

(German for the Future)

We welcomed our German Language Assistant, Frau Nele Keller, who is a qualified teacher in Germany (teaching English) and will be assisting students and our German teachers, Frau Megan Taylor und Frau Ulrike Lindner with the German Program.

We are very lucky to have Frau Keller at Rangeview for the whole year. She will be here two days a week, and two days she will be working at Mullauna College.

Frau Keller, was born in Dresden, Germany, and arrived in Australia 2 weeks ago.  Please say “Hallo” or “Guten Tag” to her when you see her to make her feel welcome.

AGTV German Poetry Competition

Next week we will be learning German poems in class. Students interested can then apply for the German Poetry Competition.  Students are required to recite a German poem to a panel of judges, and will be judged according to their pronunciation, intonation, phrasing and overall expression.  Those successful will then represent Rangeview in the German Poetry Competition competing with other schools.  Viel Glück!!
