Science Talent Search

The 2025 Science Talent Search is now open for registration! 

Students in Years 2-6 are warmly invited to enter this year with entry costs covered by the school. OHR students have been involved in this program for many years and many of our students have achieved great success with their entries receiving a Bursary Award, a Certificate of Distinction or a Certificate of Merit.  

This year the theme is 'Decoding the Universe'.

For those who are new to the STS, the three broad aims of the competition are to:

1. Stimulate an ongoing interest in the study of sciences.

2. Promote the direct involvement of students in the processes of science and its communication.

3. Give the public at large the opportunity to see the quality of work being achieved in science by students at our school.

To register, please email saxon@ohrsurreyhills.catholic.edu.au with student name, year level, category of entry and title of entry.
