On Wednesday, 26th March, 65 students gathered at Peace Park to participate in the Cross Country Trials. The event was a remarkable display of determination and sportsmanship, with the support and encouragement from spectators adding to the uplifting atmosphere.
From these trials, 24 talented students have successfully qualified to represent our school at the Conference 2 Cross Country Championships. This event is scheduled to take place at the beginning of next term at Eastern Creek.
A reminder that on Tuesday 1st April we are hosting the K-2 Cross Country on the Primary Playground. It would be wonderful to see as many students as possible participate in this fun, non competitive event.
We would like to wish the following students the best of luck as they represent our school at the following Pathway Trials:
The Stage 2 Netball Gala Day will take place on Wednesday 9th April (Week 10) at Cintra Park Netball Courts. This is a sporting opportunity for schools to participate against other students in Stage 2 in a session of non competitive netball. All students from Stage 2 will be attending the event and more information will be shared with you in the near future. If any parents of students in Stage 2 are able to assist on the day, please indicate this once the permission form has been released on Compass. Please note that this would involve managing a team and umpiring games against other schools. We always appreciate any assistance you can provide as these events could not be possible without your support.
On Tuesday of weeks 9 and 10, all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be participating in an introductory Gymnastics program. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in a sport they may not be as familiar with and learn new locomotive skills.
Thank you for your continued support,
