Primary News

Room 9 students have happily transitioned and settled nicely into the new classroom. Term one has had a strong focus on students and staff getting to know each other and building relationships. We diligently work on following schedules, ZoR check-ins, practising student voice using Stop, Go, Tell, and consistently using our voice, devices and PODD book to communicate. We enjoy bike riding, the Arts, Dream Big, group meetings and playtimes.

Celebrating Our 2025 School Captains!

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our 2025 School Captains at Croydon Special Developmental School, Declan Brookes and Jamie Smith! These outstanding students have demonstrated exceptional leadership, kindness, and commitment to our school community, and we are incredibly proud of them.

Our School Captains play an important role in representing the student body, fostering school spirit, and being positive role models for their peers. Through their dedication and hard work, they will contribute to making our school an even more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.

This year’s School Captains have shown great enthusiasm in supporting school initiatives, assisting with special events, and work everyday to display our school values of Care, Share, Do Your Best and Be Safe. Their leadership will inspire fellow students to be their best selves and participate actively in school activities.

We look forward to seeing them grow in their roles and make a lasting impact on our school community. Congratulations to our 2025 School Captains – we know you will do an amazing job!
