Term 1 at Croydon SDS

At Croydon SDS we are creating success! 

What a busy and exciting term it has been! It is great to think back on the learning and events of this term as we continually work to create success for each of our students.

This term at Croydon SDS saw:

• Our new Foundation students begin and settle into school.
• New students from 3 schools start at Croydon SDS.
• A number of new staff join our staff team.
• The opening of our beautiful new Administration and office space.
• Students in our transition section officially begin working towards their Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).
• Our Meet the Classroom Team afternoon enjoyed by parents/carers and students.
• All staff participating in a Literacy Learning session with consultant Helen Tanish to build on staff skills to support all students with their Literacy learning. This work will continue throughout this year.
• Students in secondary and transition participating in school sports with students from other specialist schools. 
• Students, parents and carers attend our Post School Options Evening.

Term 2

In term 2 we are looking forward to:

• Our new pool being completed and open for use.
• Our new gym being completed and ready for student use. 
• Education Week activities and celebrations in May. 
• The Croydon SDS Mother's Day stall.
