Welcome to Clipboard

We are excited to announce the launch of Clipboard, our new online platform designed to streamline the scheduling and management of all cocurricular programs at St Mary's College.

Clipboard aims to enhance the experience for students, parents, carers and staff by centralising all cocurricular information in one convenient location. This includes everything from sports registrations and payments to timesheets, training sessions, fixtures, results and communication with families and staff.

Please note that all St Mary's College sports sign-ups must now be completed through your Clipboard account.

An invitation to join Clipboard has been emailed to all parents and carers from Prep to Year 12. This email includes a user guide, which is also available at the link below.

We look forward to seeing you on Clipboard!

Term 1 Sport

As we wrap up Term 1 sports, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the coaches and managers who have generously dedicated their time to coaching and supporting our students. Instilling a passion for sports and fostering a commitment to lifelong physical activity can be challenging, but I believe all of our coaches have done an outstanding job. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Interschool Swimming Carnivals

A huge congratulations to our swimmers who represented the College at the JSSATIS and STCPSSA swimming carnivals at the Doone Kennedy Aquatic Centre over the past fortnight.

Both were exciting days filled with great competition, and our students gave their all, competing with both skill and heart. Their behaviour and competitive spirit at these events were exemplary, making them fantastic ambassadors for our school. Every swimmer should be proud of their efforts – we certainly are!

While there were many impressive performances, a highlight was watching our Year 6 swimmers claim victory in the relay. It was the perfect way to end their final junior interschool swimming carnival on a high note!

Victorious! Year 6 Freestyle relay swimmers, Lili, Jessica, Lottie and Sophie.

Once again, congratulations to all involved – we are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Regional Basketball Tournament #1

The 5/6 Regional Basketball Tournament took place over the weekend of 29–30 March, with two of our teams competing.

Our Division 2 team faced off against a strong line-up and played some outstanding basketball. They demonstrated excellent teamwork, coming together when it mattered most.

The team won one game by the slimmest of margins, skillfully maintaining possession in the final moments to secure the victory!

A special thanks to Daniel McKenzie for stepping up as coach for the weekend – your efforts are deeply appreciated.

SMC Division 2 Team: Macey, Quinn, Giselle, Zoey, Alice, Stella, Dan McKenzie, Zoe and Isla.

The Division 3 team also had a successful tournament. Up against some experienced teams, with a few players still gaining basketball experience, this team made St Mary’s College proud! The improvement they showed, both individually and as a team, was truly impressive. Every player embodied the Presentation values of respect, responsibility, relationships, and resilience throughout the tournament. They kept fouls to a minimum and consistently showed great respect to teammates, opponents, referees, and coaches, thanking referees and their coaches after every game. A big thank you to Amy and Tim Johns for coaching and guiding the team, ensuring every player had a rewarding experience.

The camaraderie and joy amongst this team was very evident.

Additionally, we want to thank Talia Wighton (Year 10), Georgia Scharvi (Year 9), and Bethany Scharvi (Year 7) for serving as referees during the tournament.

It was a privilege to watch our students compete and represent St Mary’s College with such pride. We’re now excited to cheer on coach, Luke Brown and our Year 3/4 team and referee, Talia in their upcoming tournament this weekend!
