3/4 Classroom News

Exciting stuff is happening in the 3/4 classrooms!
We’ve launched Ninja Maths, where students are mastering their times tables using a range of strategies. Through practice and perseverance, our number ninjas are sharpening their skills and gaining confidence in multiplication!
In Literacy, our spelling has seen great improvement, with many students moving up a stage—fantastic effort! We’ve also been working on creating strong, descriptive sentences by using adverbs, adjectives, and powerful verbs to bring our writing to life.
One of our major projects this term is designing a Game of Life-inspired board game. As part of this, students have been exploring four key questions: What is your hobby? Who is your role model? What is an important custom in your life? What is a principle you live by? Through Inquiry, students have considered ethics, customs, hobbies, sports, and the important people in their lives as they develop creative and thought-provoking game cards.
Adding to our skill set, we’ve also begun learning Auslan, focusing on signing the alphabet. It’s been a wonderful experience to explore this visual language and develop new ways to communicate.
The 3/4s are showing fantastic enthusiasm in all areas of their learning—we can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
