Please complete the following form which will be passed onto your child's teacher:

A Touch of Christmas

For a bit of fun, children are invited to wear ‘a touch of Christmas’ on the last day of our 'Lutheran Care 12 Dys of Christmas' appeal (which happens to be Class Party day) tomorrow, Friday 6th December.

With the sports uniform as a base, ‘A touch of Christmas’ looks like: Santa hat, headband, clips, socks, earrings... That kind of thing! We look forward to having a very merry Friday!

Spin Camp

Do you like camping and sharing time with other people who like to have fun? Here’s an idea! SPIN is a four-day, three-night, statewide camp in January (14th -17th) for young people in years 4-6 (in 2024) to experience an inclusive and encouraging community and grow in relationship with Jesus and others.

This year’s theme is ‘Out of this World’. Significant sponsorship is offered to first time campers by the LLL (You just pay $50). For those who have attended this camp before, Good Shepherd church offers a subsidy, just ask Georgie. The camp is held at Camp Kedron, Barmera (Riverland SA). For more information, contact Georgie here, or head to SPIN to register.

Growing Faith at Home

Here is simple activity to decorate a window at home in preparation for Christmas. I have also included a ‘Growing Faith Moment’ resource about graduating from Primary School with ideas to use for families of young people in who are about to leave our school and step into the new world of secondary school. They offer some useful caring conversations to have with your children. Why not have a look? Have also included a Christmas themed Caring Conversation starter for you to share with friends and family.

God bless you all!
