VHAP Masterclasses

On the 14th of November, seven Year 5 and 6 students participated in the WHAP English Masterclass at Wheelers Hill PS. 

This was a celebration of their hard work during the term.

VHAP (Victorian High Ability Program) consisted of weekly online VHAP English lessons, with the focus on extending their writing ability.

This masterclass was all about the villain’s journey in literature. Why students had to recap series of events in known fables/stories, work collaboratively with other students from network schools, plan and draft a storyboard, create a presentation using Keynote on the iPads, and lastly present their villain's perspective to the entire class.

Overall, the students loved this opportunity to work with others unfamiliar to them.
