Dear Parents, Carers, Family and Students,

As we conclude the 2024 academic year, it’s a pleasure to celebrate the many successes across all areas of Hollows House. This year, we’ve been so proud to see our students excel in various fields, showcasing their skills and dedication.

In sports, our students have shone across several competitions, from our rugby academy tournaments and soccer gala days to a range of sports including badminton, futsal, and table tennis. The enthusiasm and teamwork shown by our athletes have been outstanding, and it’s been wonderful to see our students represent Hollows House with such passion and determination.

Academically, our students continue to impress. Congratulations to all our senior students on completing their recent exams, and to our Year 12s who have wrapped up their time here at Hampton Park Secondary College. We’ve been inspired by the way you’ve conducted yourselves with maturity and resilience, especially during your final term. We look forward to celebrating your achievements over the coming weeks through valedictory and the end of year awards evening.

To our junior students, your accomplishments this year have truly made us proud. Whether in the arts—through impressive performances and visual displays during the Arts Showcase evening—or in Science, STEAM, English, and Maths, you have consistently demonstrated your best efforts and enthusiasm for learning. Your growth in these subjects shows the dedication you bring to everything you do, and it’s a joy to see your continued progress.

As we wrap up this school year, there are still exciting events to look forward to, including the annual End-of-Year Music Concert, the end of year excursion to Gumbuya World, and the Celebration of Student Achievement Awards evening. These events provide the perfect opportunity to highlight, recognise and celebrate your efforts and accomplishments from this remarkable year.

Looking ahead to Weeks 8 and 9, we begin our 2025 academic journey with the Commencement Program. This program is crucial for all students, as it provides a chance to familiarise yourselves with new subjects, connect with your teachers, and start building positive habits for the year ahead. For those moving into Year 11 and 12, this is a valuable opportunity to gain a strong head start on your final years, establishing study routines and laying the foundation for academic success in 2025.
