Dear parents and friends,
It is getting to that busy time of year where we all have extra family commitments and special events. The kids have done an exceptional job this year and we want to continue this right to the end of school. It is more important now than ever to make sure that everyone is getting enough sleep and ready for their learning. It might feel like we are winding up for the year however we know that achievements often slip over the 6 week break at the end of the year because our students are not getting their daily reading in. We need to stay on track and keep our learning up to maintain the good work already achieved by our kids.
The school council has been working on a partnering to learn plan. I have attached the planning doc below.
The diagram shows from our work and research the kind of partnerships that support children’s learning. From parent opinion feedback and from parent members on school council we know we have strengthened collaboration through school council, and parents are happy with classroom information through the online platforms. Next year we will be strengthening our section on parents as supporters. We will be sending home more information on volunteering in the classroom, info nights and fundraising in the new year.
I just want to thank all of our parents for doing such an amazing job supporting their child’s learning. I know your kids really love sharing their learning with you
