YEAR 2 NEWS
The Grade 2s have been learning how to write persuasive pieces of writing. They have been exploring different persuasive topics relevant to them and their community. In their writing they have learnt to include persuasive phrases, sequencing words and strong words. They have also began to include paragraphs in their writing, focusing on having a topic sentence and then expanding on their reasons and ideas through examples and explanations. Some students have also began adding links to the bottom of their paragraph! Have a read of some of their powerful persuasive texts!
