Classroom Support

Student learning is a priority for the school. To enable learning to take place, students need to be provided with the environment to be successful. This success is reliant on a strong partnership between parents/guardians, students and staff, we encourage all members of our community to regularly interact with Compass and connect with staff if additional support is required.

Presentation Event

The Mount Beauty Secondary College annual Presentation Event will take place on Tuesday 17th December 2024 from 4:30pm to 6pm. The celebration will be held at the Mount Beauty Community Centre. The event allows the school community to celebrate the outstanding achievements (both curricular and extra-curricular) of our students during the school year.

We would like to recognise the success that students have achieved throughout the year. The College invites all members of the school and community to attend this event.

This year the College will present awards in the following areas: -

  • Endeavour Awards and Excellence Awards – for those who have shown excellent behaviour and aptitude within their subject for students in years 7 to 11
  • Specialty awards from educational institutions
  • Overall academic excellence for year 12 students
  • Jessie Hollonds and Ross Montgomery Scholarships
  • Dux of the College (Year 12 student with the highest ATAR score)

The awards are presented to the students in the form of a certificate and money donated by the community. All money donated is given to the students. If you would like to contribute by donating monies that can be awarded to the students in recognition of their dedication to their schooling, it would be greatly appreciated. Your support will be recognised in the program and school newsletter.
