K Hume Celebrates 100 Days of Kindergarten!

This Term, K Hume marked a very special milestone: our 100th Day of Kindergarten! The children celebrated by dressing up and taking part in exciting activities. We made colourful crowns and gold medals, painted 100 dots on a paper gumball machine, and enjoyed a range of creative tasks that helped us understand and celebrate the number 100.

In class, K Hume has been working hard to develop their reading and writing skills. In mathematics, we have been learning to read numerals and count both forwards and backwards from a given number, keeping to a rhythm.

Drama has been another highlight in our classroom. Students are being introduced to drama as ‘pretending with purpose’—exploring how drama is made by using their bodies, facial expressions and imagination to embody feelings and simple roles. Through these activities, they are discovering new ways to tell stories and share ideas.

It has been a wonderful, busy Term of learning and celebration in K Hume!
