As part of the Local Government Road Safety Program Goulburn Mulwaree Council is continuing the Enhanced School Zone Signage Program into the 2026/2027 year.

This is to help parents and carers be aware of the of the expectations and road rules in ‘kiss and drop zones’ and ‘no parking zones’, provide a visual reminder, and improve safety in school zones at pick up and drop off times.

 Rules for the Kiss and Drop Zone are

• Pick up and drop off only
• Do not stop for more than 2 mins

• Stay within 3 metres of your vehicle

   

Reminders of safe behaviours to model for your children at drop off and pick up times are:-

• 40km/hour speed limit
• Pedestrians to cross at the designated crossing only
• No U Turns
• Intersections and driveways are to be kept clear – do not cue across
