Principal's Report 

Dear Parents, Guardians and Father Arsenio,

Welcome to the 2026 school year. It was a pleasure to see our students, both old and new return last week. I mentioned in my rounds to each class that our school is only complete when they are here. They are our reason for being!

Two new teaching staff started this year. A warm welcome to John Bartels (Gr2) and Lena McCowan (LOTE teacher). They are joined by Bella D'Allesandro (LSO). It is great to have them all on staff.

Our school opened in 1976, That means that this year we are recognising our 50th birthday / anniversary. There is a weekend of recognition planned later in the year. Watch out for further news.

By now you will be aware that Operoo has ceased to operate. Notification was sent in relation to the new platform nForma. Can you please ensure that it is this profile that you have completed. It will make life much easier all round.

Our School review process concluded last December with the completion of our School Improvement Plan (2026-9) and 2026 Annual Action Plan. They will be presented to the  SAC next week and then published on our website. The reports from the independent assessor  were congruent with our own self assessments, which was most pleasing

Assembly will be at 2:30 this week. Our new school leaders are looking forward to presenting and leading their first assembly. Please feel free to join us.
