Allied Health (Wellbeing) Team
At Melton Secondary College, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Our Allied Health (Wellbeing) Team works to ensure every student feels valued, connected and supported throughout their journey with us.
We collaborate closely with students, families and staff to promote an inclusive and caring school culture. From individual counselling to proactive, whole-school programs, our team supports the wellbeing of the entire school community.

Meet the Team
Ms Kriss Payne
Assistant Principal – Director of Student Services and Operations
Kriss leads Student Services with passion and dedication. In her portfolio, she oversees the Allied Health Team to ensure students receive coordinated and comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs.
Stacey James
Allied Health Leader
With over 10 years of experience at Melton Secondary College, Stacey is stepping into the role of Acting Allied Health Leader. She provides coordination, oversight and ongoing development of Allied Health practices across the school. Stacey brings extensive knowledge of student mental health within a school setting and a strong understanding of the Melton community.
Liam Jilla
Counsellor
Liam is a dedicated counsellor committed to supporting student wellbeing. In addition to his broader contributions to the school, Liam provides individual counselling and facilitates proactive small group programs that foster resilience, emotional growth and positive relationships.
Daniella Giampino
Counsellor
With over eight years of service at Melton Secondary College, Dani is an integral member of the team. Working Mondays and Thursdays, she provides individual counselling and facilitates small group programs designed to strengthen emotional wellbeing, social skills and resilience.
Ellie Perger
Youth Worker
Working Tuesdays and Thursdays, Ellie provides short- to medium-term counselling and facilitates small group programs that support students’ mental and emotional development. She creates a safe and supportive space for students to explore challenges, build coping strategies and develop resilience.
Yai Mario-Ring
Social Worker
Yai works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Joining from Melton FLO, she brings over eight years of experience as a social worker in school settings. Yai provides short- to medium-term counselling and facilitates programs and group activities using a strengths-based, holistic approach to student wellbeing.
Alisha Pitisano
Student Wellbeing and Engagement Officer
In 2026, Alisha continues as a key point of contact for students and families while coordinating Tier 1 wellbeing programs, including Doctors in Secondary Schools (DiSS) and Breakfast Club. She also coordinates support for students in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC), working closely with students, carers and external agencies to ensure the school meets Department of Education partnership agreement requirements.
Cheryl Zammit
School Nurse
Based in the First Aid Office, Cheryl ensures students are seen in a calm and timely manner. She oversees the management of asthma and anaphylaxis plans, supports students with chronic health conditions (including diabetes and epilepsy), manages daily medication plans, and coordinates staff First Aid, CPR and anaphylaxis training.
Cynthia Flores
Health Promotion Nurse
Employed through the Department of Education’s Secondary School Nursing Program, Cynthia works onsite every Thursday and Friday. With a background in public and adolescent health, she supports health promotion initiatives and provides specialised advice to students and staff. Cynthia also strengthens links with the wider Melton community to coordinate immunisations, dental services, sexual health services and other health programs.
Chloe McBain
Mental Health Practitioner (Social Worker)(Currently on Leave)
Chloe provides mental health prevention and promotion initiatives, therapeutic support and care coordination for students with complex needs.
External Agency Partners
We are fortunate to have additional team members employed through external agencies who work closely with our school community.
Annette Lac
Provisional Psychologist – Psychs in Schools (PiS)
Annette works with us three days per week through the Psychs in Schools program. She is completing her graduate placement as a Provisional Psychologist and supports a caseload of students through one-on-one sessions focused on mental health and wellbeing.
Reymond
Youth Worker – Les Twentyman Foundation
Reymond will be joining us four days per week in the coming weeks. We look forward to formally introducing him and sharing more about his role in supporting our students and broader school community.
