Dear Families, 

At St Thomas our students engage in some fantastic specialist lessons in addition to the core curriculum that classroom teachers provide.

STSS (Science, Technology, Sustainability & Stewardship)

'A' Classes (Wednesday - Friday) - Jessica Cannizzaro

This year I am new to the STSS team and excited to learn alongside our students. I aim to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels encouraged to try, grow, and succeed. I’m looking forward to working with the 'A' classes this year!

'B' Classes - Lance Rooney

This year I will be teaching all of the students in the "B" classes from Foundation to grade Six. I am really looking forward to continuing to help the students build on their learning in Science, Technologies and Sustainability and Stewardship.

'C' Classes - Wendy Silvester

This year in STSS I will be teaching all the students of the 'C' classes from Foundation to Grade 6 .  I’m really looking forward to getting to know your children and supporting them as they learn and grow this year.

'D' Classes - Chantel Prince 

In 2026, I will be teaching STSS to all of the 'D' classes across the school. I am looking forward another great year of providing the curious minds of our students with lots of practical learning opportunities.

'E' Classes and Tuesday 'A' Classes - Jessica Ram

Welcome to 2026 STSS! I will be teaching STSS to all of the 'E' classes across the school and the 3/4 'A' classes on a Tuesday. The problem solving and caring for our earth are a couple of the many reasons I absolutely love teaching Science, Technologies, Sustainability and Stewardship, I look forward to exploring with the students Earth and Space sciences in Term 1. 

Visual Arts Grades F-4

This year I have the pleasure of teaching Visual Arts to students in Foundation and Grades 1–4. I’m looking forward to a year of experimenting and exploring a range of art materials, creating artworks, and sharing our ideas and creations with one another.

Grade 5-6 Media Arts

Mrs Emily Robertson & Kylie Robertson (Therapy dog)

This year Kylie and myself have the pleasure of working with the Grade 5/6 students in Media Arts. I look forward to working with students to support them in building their media literacy and creative skills.

F-2 & 5-6 Physical Education

Mr Anthony O'Rourke

This year I will be teaching Physical Education to F–2 and 5–6 students. I’m excited to share my passion for PE with the students of St Thomas. I’m looking forward to another great year of learning, movement, and growth across the school.

Grade 3-4 Physical Education

Mrs Sarah Rietwyk

This year, I’m excited to be teaching Physical Education to our Grade 3–4 students. I’m looking forward to a fun year filled with movement, learning, and teamwork!
