YEAR 11

Year 11 Key Information

  • Across many curriculum areas, Year 11 students are engaging in Unit 2 and commencing or part-way through their assessment. Students are encouraged to engage in rich conversations with their subject teachers to receive the necessary support to navigate their learning successfully.
  • School attendance is an essential part of your child's learning and development. Pastoral mentors will continue to track attendance and contact you to provide support to ensure learning can continue if it is below 90%. Please contact the college for support should attendance be a concern for your child. We are a community that aims to support children's engagement in learning at school.

Whole of College Key Information

In July each year, celebrations are held across Australia to recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This week, it was our turn as a college community to celebrate NAIDOC Week.

Students and staff greatly enjoyed some fantastic activities throughout the week and Tuesday's presentation at our College Assembly. We thank our First Nations Education Team for all their work, which made the week a great success.

Yesterday, many students from St Mary's represented the College at the TCS Carnival. We look forward to hearing all the highlights in the Sports Bulletin next week. Congratulations to all involved!

In Week 6, we will celebrate St Mary's Day, one of the best days of the school year! This is a compulsory school day on which we come together for Mass as a community, celebrate with activities, and finish with a College concert. We look forward to celebrating this wonderful day in our school calendar!
