Heavenly mother, filled with God's grace,

Pray for us today and all days, that we may strive to trusting, patient and faithful, as you were, so that we may one day join you and all saints in heaven. In Jesus's name we pray.

Feast of Mary MacKillop

On Thursday 8th August 2024, we celebrated the Feast of Mary MacKillop. She founded Australia's first order of nuns, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart, and also established St. Joseph's School in a converted stable in Penola, providing a free education to children from the area. Mary MacKillop is the first Saint of Australia.

Feast of the Assumption of Blessed Mary

On Thursday 15th August 2024, we gathered as a school and parish community as part of the Feast of the Assumption. This significant feast day recalls the spiritual and physical departure of the mother of Jesus Christ from the earth, when both her soul and her body were taken into the presence of God.
