Principal's Report

 Principal - Julie Hommelhoff

It was so nice to see Mr Jacob Johnson, our Assistant Principal join us at ETRPS on Wednesday. Jacob will officially join our team on Monday 29 July.  We are looking forward to Jacob bringing his knowledge and experiences to share with us.

Hopefully many of our families have met Hudson and Lu as they join our workforce too.

The start to our term has been a very positive one both in the classrooms and in our yard. Community members have approached us to establish if they can support and/or be a part of our team here at ETRPS. This is so refreshing and such a great acknowledgement of our school.

We are need of a parent member for our School Council Team. Would you like to be a bigger part of your child/ren's school life, would you like to assist us to make big picture decision, would you like to support our school to grow? Contact the office and fill out a nomination form.

School Council meets every third week of each month.

School Wide Positive Behaviour Update

It has been fantastic to see so many students receiving our Wally stickers every week. Wally stickers are the cornerstone of our positive behaviour acknowledgement system. As students accumulate these stickers, they can choose from a range of rewards. Well done students on some excellent work, social situations and leading others.

Foundation 2025 Enrolments

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post.

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school.

Applications for 2025 Prep Enrolments are required to the school by July 26th.

Reminders:

Winter is still here. Please ensure your child/ren has their jumper, polo and or coat with them to keep warm where needed. Please name all items of clothing. We have a number of jumpers and jackets in lost property already.

Uniform

Thank you to our students and the support of our families in ensuring our students are in full school uniform every day. Our students look great in our uniform, and it helps develop pride and a sense of belonging. Uniform spot checks will happen throughout the week, in any given week.

Black pants and black shorts are not part of our school uniform. As part of our uniform policy, all shorts and pants must be navy blue. Students arriving at school, who are not in uniform will be provided with the opportunity to wear school uniform and a phone call will be made home.

Dates for the calendar:

  • Student Led Conferences Wednesday 31 July
  • Wear Green and Gold Day - Friday 2 August

Have a great week. Stay warm.
