Three-Year-Olds

 This week we have enjoyed being outdoors making wattle blossom soup, investigating rocks, and finding worms that have made their way to the surface after the rain. Indoors, children have been testing themselves with increasingly complex puzzles and have been enjoying painting, drawing and roleplay.

We had a blast on our zoo excursion, the children were incredibly excited on the bus and they loved seeing lions, dingoes, tigers, giraffes, snakes, tortoises and so much more! 

Some of the special moments were the butterfly house- with children trying incredibly hard to stay still in the hope that one might land on them, seeing the lions and otters having just been fed and the tiger that ROARED at us! 

 We extended the children’s learning back at kinder, using pictures they drew at the zoo to extend fine motor and creative skills, discussing concepts such as conservation and engaging in fun animal action songs and animal yoga.

We are excited to see where this learning takes us.
