The Premier’s Reading Challenge closes next week, on Friday, 23rd August.
Over 300 students from our school have already completed the challenge this year.
Some students are very close to finishing. There is still time to complete and record the books read for the challenge. (Remember you can include 10 of your own choice books))
Book Week 19th - 23rd August (Week 5)
On Monday, August 19th, from 1:30pm to 2:45pm, we will be having a Book Character Parade, where students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite book character.
We warmly invite you to join us at 1:30pm, as students parade dressed up, to celebrate Book Week.
Our Book Fair will arrive this week and will be held in the library. Students will have the opportunity to view the books and fill out a Wish List which they will share with you. There will be no library borrowing while the Book Fair is here.
Please join us on:
Wednesday, August 21st, from 3:15pm to 4:30pm
or
Thursday August 22nd from 8:10am to 9:10am,
where you can explore and purchase a wonderful selection of books. There will be one copy only of each book on display. All book purchases will need to be ordered using the provided order form or Wish List.
Purchases can be prepaid online, then complete the back of the Wish List and return to the school
or
by credit card at the event (NO cash will be accepted).
Books purchased from the Book Fair and donated to the school would also be greatly appreciated. (A family name plate will be provided in the donated book/books.)
Thank you for your support during book Week.
Have fun sharing the love of reading, this Book Week.
