Diocesan Swimming Carnival 

Last Friday a team of almost twenty swimmers travelled to compete in the Diocesan Swimming Carnival at the new Inverell Aquatic Centre. All students showed vastly improved swimming skills and did Tenterfield proud with their effort, team spirit and determination. As always the competition was very tough, however our students held their own and ended up swimming multiple Personal Bests, some taking seconds off their best times. A special mention to Max Duck, who qualified 3rd fastest in the 10 Yr Boys 50m Freestyle and is eligible to compete in the Polding carnival in early April! A great achievement Max and a testament to his hard work this summer!

Thanks to our amazing parents who volunteered their time to allow our students to travel and participate. Special shout out to Brad and Luke who found the perfect spot for our school shade tent the afternoon before the carnival!
