Junior School Student Leaders Induction
On Monday, we were pleased to officially induct this year's Year 6 Leaders into their roles. Joined by Mr Andrew Linke and last year's Year 6 leaders, the students received their badges in a symbolic ceremony, with their parents in attendance.
May God use them to bless the College!
Foundation Students – Celebrating Our Firsts
What a wonderful start to the school year it has been for our Foundation students. We are delighted to welcome 42 wonderful children, with 21 students in each Foundation class, who have settled into school life so positively and confidently.
Starting school is full of firsts, and our Foundation students have already experienced many exciting milestones. We have celebrated our:
- first day of school,
- first school photograph,
- first lessons in PE, Science, Health, and Library.
- wearing brand new uniforms, hats and shoes
- using a lunch box
The children have also enjoyed meeting their new teachers and making new class friends, helping them develop a strong sense of belonging within our school community.
During these early weeks, a strong focus has been placed on learning routines. Understanding daily expectations, knowing where to find things in the classroom, and becoming familiar with areas around the College are essential in setting children up for success. Our students have embraced these routines beautifully and are showing growing independence each day.
For the first six weeks, Foundation students have a rest day, which plays an important role in supporting their wellbeing as they transition into full-time school. This time allows children to recharge and return feeling ready to learn.
As we celebrate these early weeks and many firsts, we are guided by this special verse:
“Let all that you do be done in love.”1 Corinthians 16:14
We are incredibly proud of how our Foundation students have started their school journey and look forward to watching them continue to grow, learn, and thrive throughout the year.
God’s Blessings

OSHC Highlight
This term, we are delighted to introduce a new OSHC event, "Teach an Educator", where children become the teachers, instructing their educators on how to perform a specific skill or talent of their choice. Laurelle, Amir and Hayden have already begun teaching motor-based skills such as bowling, parkour and juggling!
The purpose of the event is to ensure children are receiving multiple opportunities to show independence, gain confidence and express themselves. It also serves as a fantastic opportunity for newcomers to feel a sense of belonging in the OSHC space as well as build relationships and trust with their educators.
