Learning in Faith

Ash Wednesday Liturgy 5th March, 2.30pm
This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Church's season of Lent. The season of Lent lasts for forty days. It is a special time where we prepare our hearts for Easter.
We will be gathering for a Liturgy, to remember and celebrate Jesus' story, saying prayers, singing songs and reflecting on how we can grow and change and be more loving during Lent.
At the Liturgy the ashes are traced in the form of a cross on our foreheads to symbolise the start of our journey of Lent and to remind us to be an example of Jesus' love.
Our Grade 5 and 6 Social Justice Leadership Team will be leading our Liturgy.
All families and friends are invited to our Ash Wednesday Liturgy, it is taking place at 2.30pm in the Discovery Room.
Sacrament of Reconciliation Commitment Mass
Our Year 3 Sacrament of Reconciliation students and their families attended Mass at Immaculate Conception Church on Sunday where they were welcomed by the Parish Community. They processed in with Father Shymon and handed out prayer cards to the parishioners. We pray for them during this special time in their journey of faith.
The students are making the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday 25th March.
