We hope you had a wonderful summer break.
Term 1 of ABC Music Lessons is about to begin, and we're excited to share some important details:
* **Start Date:**Wednesday 5th February
*Lesson Schedule** Lessons will be held once a week on Wednesdays during school hours. Please note that lesson times may vary depending on school timetables and activities.
*** Music Teacher/s** Caitlin will collect students from their classrooms at the designated lesson time and distribute any new books to new students. Please note that we offer Singing lessons in addition to Keyboard/ Guitar & Drums
Practice & HomeWork
Learning a musical instrument offers children a fulfilling and enriching experience, much like many other activities they enjoy. Similar to other pursuits, mastering an instrument requires time, dedication, and consistent practice. It is a gradual process that demands patience, as progress often unfolds in small steps.
- Students need to bring the music book every week in class
- Teachers will date each piece of homework in the music book.
- Students are instructed to work backwards when practicing at home, starting with their most recent piece, then the piece before that, and so on.
- In the early stages of their musical journey they don’t have to be too pedantic on how and what they practice, the most important thing is spending time with the instrument, as the physicality of playing is the first priority for younger students.
