Recently, our Senior Boys Cricket team played three games at the Dimboola Road oval. Our first match was against Murtoa College, where we put in a strong performance and came away with a 31-run win. Our second match against Wimmera Lutheran College was a hard fought contest. With limited overs, our students batted and bowled exceptionally well, losing in the last over with three balls remaining. Our final match of the day was a friendly game against Horsham College, with both teams displaying great batting and fielding skills.
Congratulations to Lewis Hofmaier for being our highest run-scorer and to Archie Sostheim for his efforts as wicketkeeper in two matches. A big thank you to Angus Mintern and Max Murray for filling in, with Angus demonstrating excellent skill with both bat and ball in the final game. Lastly, a special acknowledgment to our captain, Daniel Bell, for his leadership and for ensuring everyone had a fantastic day.
Our students, along with SMJ Horsham's Grade 4, 5, and 6 students, had a wonderful day at our annual joint House Swimming Sports yesterday! The day was filled with excitement both in and out of the pool, showcasing house spirit and College pride from everyone involved. A huge thank you to staff from both schools for organising such a successful event. It's always fantastic to see our schools come together to celebrate this fun and memorable tradition each year!
