School Captain's Report

Dear families,

As we reach the end of our first month back at school, hopefully everyone is starting to find some comfort and routine as we all settle back into school life. Starting a new school year can be challenging, but I hope that we have helped to make the transition easier for everyone by cultivating a community based on strength and kindness.

Big congratulations are in order for the house of Clontarf (blue house) with their win in the swimming sports. This year’s swimming sports carnival was a huge success with high attendance and participation numbers. It was great to see students (and teachers) from all houses and year levels participate and just having a bit of fun with the day. Hopefully we can remain this eager as we approach our annual athletics carnival in March.

As we continue on with this Year of Hope, I hope everyone is able to find motivation and enjoyment as they strive to do their best in all areas of life, in academics, sport, extracurriculars and everything else, as well as being a kind and generous person to those around them. To maintain hope for ourselves and our futures is key in having a positive outlook on our lives and the lives of those around us. If we continue to work together to create a strong community based on kindness, dedication and positivity, I am sure that we will see success for all of our dreams for the school and our students.

So with a very busy year ahead, I encourage you all to take the time to remember what you are looking forward to in your individual lives and inspire hope that it will all work out for the best.

Wishing you all the best,

Maddie Carracher,

College Captain
