P&F 2024

A very big thank you to all those very generous people who have signed up to a role or to coordinate an event next year!

While there are plenty of other things keeping us all very busy this time of year, I will leave this here for you to come back to when things have slowed down a little!

Apart from a team of leaders we are still quite urgently needing the following positions filled or coordinators for these events.

SPONSORSHIPS and DONATIONS COORDINATORS- 3-4 people needed.

This year our sponsorships and donations team has been very small and required a lot of additional work to be taken on by the P&F team leader. While they work in conjunction with the leaders it really would be helpful to a potential leadership team if the bulk of this role is managed by a separate team. The Sponsorship and donations team main role is to source and collect donations from the community for raffles and our Major Fundraiser, the silent auction in June, and to seek out or keep track of ongoing supporters such as Bakers Delight or supporter programs such as Rebels program. We have an extensive list of contacts and supporters of our school and already drafted letters and thank you certificates to make this role easier. Some of you may not be aware that most businesses factor donations to, and sponsorship of community groups in their marketing budgets so have the means there to support us if only someone has the time to ask! A team of three or four would be great. Even if you are someone with a lot of contacts for donations but not a lot of time for admin that would still be a great help. The Silent Auction is the biggest task but coordinators are encouraged to seek out support and contacts from other members of the school community.

CINEMA NIGHT- Grade 4 Parents (Booked for Friday 1st March 2024)- One person signed up. 3 more needed.

This is booked earlier next year with the aim of improving our chances of better weather. Whilst I will no longer be the leader I have run one before and with or without new leaders I am willing to advise/assist a team so this great event can go ahead.

SCHOOL DISCO- Grade 3 Parents (Mid September)- 4 people needed

MUMS AND DADS NIGHT- Grade 6 Parents 2 people signed up, 2 more needed

We did miss these this year. Can you help organise some whole school parents’ nights throughout the year. (Mums- May/June. Dads- August/September)

2nd FOOD DAY COORDINATOR1 person signed up. 1 more needed

We have a new coordinator who I will assist for the first few food days, but we would love another. By amazing chance over the last 7.5 yrs. I have never been sick when a food day has been scheduled but one was missed this year when I was unable to make the time work. Having two will take the pressure off one person and they will have a backup should they be needed.

FATHERS DAY STALL1 person signed up. 1 more needed

In the link below is a summary of each role:
