Before, After and Holiday Care @ St Mary's
Hello Families,
Can you believe that we have reached the final newsletter of the year?
This year has been jam-packed full of fun and games and it is safe to say that we have had an absolute ball. After speaking with many children at TheirCare this week they have all agreed that our top three 2023 TheirCare Experiences are as follows:
1. TheirCare Luna Park Excursion
2. TheirCare Summer Carnival
3. TheirCare Glowtopia Party
We are now gearing up for our final two weeks of the year where we are exploring the themes of ‘Summer’s Here!’ and ‘Christmas Creations’. We hope to see many of you around the service over the next week and a half to celebrate our amazing year and engage in some fun-filled final activities for 2023!
Pupil Free Days
Please note that despite school finishing on Friday December 15, TheirCare will be open from 7AM-6PM on December 18, 19 and 20. These sessions can be booked via FullyBooked under the ‘Pupil Free Day’ section of your child’s account.
2024 January Holiday Program
The January Holiday Program season is just around the corner. We have officially finalised our Holiday Program planner and I am so excited to share that TheirCare’s theme is ‘Summer Passport’. You will find a digital copy of the flyer at the end of this insert. I want to mention that we will be heading out on 5 excursions these holidays, the dates for those excursions are as follows:
January 10 – Movie Magic – Movie Excursion
January 11 – Volley Stars – Beach Volleyball Excursion
January 17 – Super Jump Side – Trampoline Excursion
January 19 – Zoo Explorers – Zoo Excursion
January 23 – Vertical Venturers – Rock Climbing Excursion
Foundation students beginning at St Mary’s in 2024 can create their enrolment and attend the January Holiday Program Season. We look forward to meeting all of you soon.
Sun Safety
As always entering Term 1, children must wear hats when engaging in outdoor play. Can I please ask parents and guardians that you remind your child to bring their hat over to TheirCare so that we can go outside and enjoy all the sun has to offer safely! If preferred we have a tub at the service, your child is welcome to bring a spare sun-safe hat that is named that they keep at the service and use throughout the Year! Sunscreen will be applied before going outside every day, if your child requires a particular sunscreen, please do not hesitate to let me know so that I can accommodate for this!
Final Additions
It has been an absolute treat to watch your children grow over the 2023 academic year and we can't express our immense gratitude for the amazing children and families we have the pleasure of interacting with weekly. We would like to wish our Grade 6 students all the best as they finish off their time in Primary School next week and prepare for their new endeavours in their respective High Schools. It has been a pleasure to see your growth this year and we trust that you will all continue to flourishat your new schools.
On a broader scale, we would like to wish you all a safe and restful holiday break. We are excited to see all that we will experience in 2024 and create new memories with you all! If we don’t see you before the end of the school year, we wish you aMerry Christmas and Happy New Year.
