College Ball

Wow, what a night! It was fantastic to see all the students dressed up and enjoying themselves at the College Ball. It was a great evening and the students acquitted themselves well. 

The rain held off for the arrival, but unfortunately, it came down when the students left, but it did not put a dampener on the night. Well done to all students and staff involved.

With the excitement of the Ball over, it is now business as usual for all students, in particular the Year 12s, who are commencing their last five weeks of schooling. Stay focussed and put in the effort. Do not leave the College wondering what you could have achieved if you had put in more effort. Instead, finish off strong and make the most of the opportunities that remain.

OLNA

The OLNA for second semester is scheduled for Week 8 and 9 – Monday 2nd September to Friday 13th September. The writing component for all students is only able to be completed in the first three days. Other components are rostered across the two weeks meeting other needs of the College. Please refer to the attached document for the schedule, details and access to the OLNA practice site. 

Muresk/Dowerin Excursion

Next week from Monday to Wednesday I will be involved with the Muresk/Dowerin Excursion and taking the Trade focus students on their tours with Mr Truss. I am looking forward to the trip and variety of industry areas and business which we will be visiting on the first two days before attendinge Dowerin Field Day.
