We have received the draft report from the department about our Assessment and Rating, and we have rated as exceeding overall! We have been rated exceeding in 14 standards out of 15, which is a great outcome! We have the opportunity to provide feedback to the Authorised Officer and we will try providing extra evidence to support our application to get rated exceeding in every single standard! 

 

Don’t forget that  we are having Science incursions for the last four weeks of term. They will be held each Monday starting 26th August. Children will need to be enrolled in the program to attend. The first incursion is all about explosions!

Warmer weather: We will be encouraging children to stay hydrated. Hats will also be mandatory in two weeks. Now is the time to check the back of the cupboard and under the bed for your hat. 

IMPORTANT:

  • Music lessons/ Tutoring: if your child/ren has a music lesson or tutoring during afternoon sessions, please email Bernadetta to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@educaytion.vic.gov.au to make sure permission is appropriately been given fr your child/ren to attend.
  • Sports Balls: we are missing few sports balls, including down balls, from our sport cupboard – could you please keep an eye around the school grounds and/or home in case children have taken them accidently.

Any balls donations would be much appreciated! 

A big thank you to those who returned sports equipment and donated equipment over the past week. It was awesome to see such a great response from students and families!

 

  • School Holiday Program September 2024 bookings are now open. 
    • All bookings and inquiries are to be made via email to oshcholiday@brunswicknwps.vic.edu.au . It is important that all the SHP communication goes to the right channel as we have 2 different program planning teams: one for OSHC and one for SHP, and we are trying to optimize the efficiency for both programs.

REMINDERS:

  • Mondays: Outing to Jacob Reserve/Dunston Reserve for grade 4-6 students

Mondays: Science Incursion from 4- 5PM!

  • Wednesday: Incursion - Tumbling with Tara
