Dear Parents and Carers
Celebrating Father Figures at OLHC’s Special Breakfast
Our recent Father’s Day Breakfast was a heartwarming celebration, bringing together fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other special guests who play vital roles in our students’ lives. It was wonderful to see so many of you in attendance, sharing stories, and enjoying the delicious egg and bacon rolls. The morning was filled with laughter and connection, reflecting the strong community spirit that makes OLHC such a special place.
Events like this highlight the importance of all the significant figures in our children’s lives. Watching our students spend quality time with those they cherish - whether it be fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or special friends - underscores the value of our close-knit school community.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the PFOL for their tireless efforts in organising this event. Their dedication ensured everything ran smoothly, making the morning enjoyable for all. A special thank you goes to Lisa McCann and Tony Vikram for their early morning work in preparing and cooking the delicious egg and bacon rolls, which were a big hit.
Additionally, I’d like to acknowledge Michelle Rabbito and Diana Healy, who spent all day Thursday preparing the special gifts. Their hard work added a personal touch to the celebration, making each guest feel appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s breakfast a memorable event. It’s moments like these that remind us why OLHC is such a cherished and inclusive community.
Warm regards,
Rudy Vail
