Student Learning -  3/4

Before writing our procedural texts this week, 3/4B followed a recipe for making chocolate truffles. The results were messy and delicious.  

In 3/4 we have been writing procedural texts. Here are a sample of the published pieces.

In Weeks 5 & 6, students in 3/4J have been learning about procedural reports (recipes, instructions, how to guides etc). Students identified the particular text features and layout of procedural reports to write their own. Some students researched recipes, some made their own, some students got crafty and others wrote a procedure on games they have invented. Check them out!

3/4L have been learning all about procedural reports. We had a go at following instructions ourselves and then writing our own for others to follow.

In 3/4S we have been learning to write procedural texts. We started by making chocolate truffles last week, before having a go at writing our own procedural texts.
